asked for a motion to go into closed session to discuss property matters.
MOTION
MADE, MOTION SUPPORTED, MOTION CARRIED: A motion was made by VanRaalte
and supported by Marsilje to go into closed session to discuss property
matters.
Visser
explained any decision to be made would be done in open session. There
will only be discussion during a closed session.
Board
adjourned to closed session.

returned to open session.
Visser
explained the Board was briefed by our attorney on a disposition of road
ends and reserves in Waukazoo Woods. We have taken no action but there is
a proposed action.
Marsilje read the Resolution.
MOTION
MADE, MOTION SUPPORTED, MOTION CARRIED: A motion was made by Marsilje and
supported by Koopman to adopt the resolution.
Visser
stated Post Avenue will remain a public street to the waters edge; Maple
Walk has no public claim and will be permitted to be sold by the heirs of
Judge Everett; Pine Walk would retain a 30 feet wide road end right-of-way
to Lake Macatawa with 10 feet on each side for private property; Hemlock
would remain a private reserve under claim of ownership by the heirs of
Judge Everett; Fallen Leaf (Ashwood) would be deeded to Park Township,
Dyken will remain a public right-of-way street end; Post Avenue and 160th
Street would remain public right-of-ways.
VanRaalte questioned if Park Township acquires more land will we be
picking up more liability.

replied Park Township would have the same liability as other properties we
already own. |
